Journeyman Forming Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Forming Machine Operator to join our team at our Lapel, IN plant.
Responsibilities:
- Defect analysis (gauging and visual) and necessary adjustments to machine, feeder, stacker, etc., to improve and maintain top quality.
- To change or assist in changing blanks, molds, finish mold changes and record reason.
- Body and finish mold changes.
- Job change assistance.
- Breakdown repair assistance.
- Reporting to foreman or machine foreman any bad glass, bad machine conditions, or defective machine parts which he cannot correct.
- Adjusting temperatures of mold equipment to feeder.
- Necessary doping and swabbing of mold equipment.
- May be assigned responsibility for additional equipment up to and including the point at which the bottles enter the lehr.
- Keeps work area, tools and equipment clean and orderly.
- Performing any other duties assigned.
- Gauge weight and selected physical dimensions on complete set out and/or random sample and record using PC work station.
- Requalify all cavities following major downtime.
- Maintain any records or reports as directed.
Position Requirements:
- Must have a Journeyman's Operator License.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
- Must be able to work safely in a hot and loud environment.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
