Environmental Health & Safety Manager

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and promoting the plant environmental, safety, workers' compensation, and occupational health programs for the site.
The EHS Manager will:
Plan, promote, and follow-up on all phases of the plant safety program and drive the environmental, health, and safety culture.
Create and develop new methods and strategies to help engage employees in environmental, health, and safety culture.
Maintain accurate and complete records that meet regulatory requirements, including but not limited to:
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)Department of Transportation (DOT)Clean Air Act (CAA)Clean Water Act (CWA)Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA)All applicable local and state regulatory requirementsAnticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices through work site knowledge, employee interactions, and work site inspection, and control exposures to occupational health hazards.
Conduct mandated employee environmental, health, and safety training programs.
Participate in state and federal OSHA and environmental inspections.
Act as the site contact for Worker's Compensation issues.
Conduct applicable facility environmental training including:
Hazardous Waste, Title V Permit, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC).
The EHS Manager should have:
High energy with the ability to motivate people and drive the environmental, health, and safety culture.
Experience developing and delivering training.
A collaborative approach to leadership and a willingness to actively participate on the floor.
SDL2017 Recommended Skills Leadership Occupational Safety And Health Regulatory Requirements Safety Training Site Inspection Workers' Compensation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
